Vintage BEATLES Concert T-Shirt BEATLEFEST 1981 Lg John Lennon Rock Tour Concert

This is a vintage original BEATLES shirt from the 1981 BEATLEFEST concert festival. It is the first festival after the death of JOHN LENNON. John died Dec 8th 1980 & this festival took place in March 1981. The artist listed on the shirt, picture #2 (Carol Lapidos) is the co founder of the festival that originated in 1975 after Carol's husband (Mark) bumped into John Lennon in front of his apartment in New York.

He asked John if he thought a beatlefest convention was a good thing & John replied, I'm all for it. I'm a Beatles fan, too. The rest is history as the festival still continues today over 3 days long, still run by Carol & Mark Lapidos.

It is in excellent condition & a rare part of Beatle history. Has no stains, holes, tears, or stitching issue.

Shirt is red, print shows no wear. This is a one sided shirt.
