The Beatles YELLOW SUBMARINE Platinum Record Award John Lennon Paul McCartney

An RIAA platinum record award to commemorate the sale of more than one million copies of the Yellow Submarine LP. The platinum coated disc is in excellent condition, as is the strip plate with the "Capital Records" logo. This is an in house style award, and not an RIAA issue.

Strip plate is noted as presented to The Beatles. This was purportedly from a collection of awards that once were hanging in a Capital Records Office.

The award measures approx 17 by 21 inches and is overall in very good condition. There is some minor wear to the frame from age and display.
