John Lennon beautifully signed Beatles Please Please Me album Parlophone PMC 1202 rare 1963 black and gold label first pressing with Dick James credits signed on the back cover in blue fountain pen by John Lennon Love to Joy and added four XXXXs signed to his nine year old Liverpool neighbor. This comes with a letter of provenance which reads reads in part. The story starts with myself, a nine year old girl who lived at 261 Menlove Avenue, Liverpool.
My cousin Ray lived a few houses down the road. I use to play outside when I came home from school most days and a green Ford Pop van used to park outside 251 Menlove Avenue. If my cousin knew the four boys who kept going in the house, he replied that he did and that he went to school with one of them, John Lennon and that the boys had formed a group called the Beatles. The Please Please Me record itself is the rare and quite valuable and much sought after black and gold label first pressing record with Dick James credits (see scans). Only 1,500 of them were pressed making them very rare and hard to find in any condition and its in pretty nice condition.
