This (almost) 800 page book. This wonderful book is written as historical fiction, with very thorough notes on sources and conversations. Taking on this book, you must be "all in, " but if you are, the rewards are unlimited.

Most of us know the dates, times, and places (although we learned a lot from reading this volume), but the author creates a human being that seems to be consistent with the snippets of Lennon's life that we know. It is our understanding that this is the first of an eventual nine volume set. We have heard that Volume 6 release is imminent. This book is in excellent, brand-new condition. It has not been read; we read an extra copy of the same book, so the one listed here is pristine. But wait; there's more. The book comes with a title page signed by the author, as well as an autograph from the cover artist.

There is a forward from one of John Lennon's boyhood friend, Bill Harry, and founded "Mersey Beat, " one of the first rock publications, and a key contributor to the Beatles' early publicity. The book is thoroughly footnoted, and some notes come with a QR code that sends you to a video of the event being described or discussed.

This item has been stored at room temperature, in a smoke free home. Just finished reading this fantastic book of Judes 9 volume series and enjoyed every page What a full life John lived, he packed so much into his short life and left us along with his buddy Paul so many treasured songs which he poured into each one. Jude has a beautiful way of expressing herself and you really feel like you are there in the room with John I have enjoyed every book in the series and can't wait for the next in series. You must read this wonderful series of books to experience what it was like to be there in the middle of the Beatles storm.
