JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO -'TWO VIRGINS. Here is an original 1st generation black and white photographic print c.
1968 as used on the cover of John & Yoko's infamous'Two Virgins' LP. 14" x 10", shows John & Yoko completely naked in their basement flat at 34 Montague Square, London. This photograph would have been part of a small quantity of initial prints, one of which was used for the production of the LP cover. Some were also distributed around the Apple offices in Savile Row, from where this example purports to originate.
Being a 1st generation print, the image is clear and sharp. The photo has been on the wall at some point in its life and there are sections of dried tape adhesive to the upper and lower edges.
The rear of the photo is blank. The censored white areas of course are not present on the actual photograph. We grade strictly & conservatively in strong daylight & beneath halogen light to UK'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
