The weight of the fabric makes it ideal to be worn either as a heavy shirt or as a light jacket over a t-shirt. The color is still a very dark olive green with very little signs of wear. Some of the photos appear more faded or washed out but there is very little fading if at all. The most accurate representation of its color are the sleeve patch photos. There is no fraying at the collar, pocket flaps, cuffs or hem, which is quite rare in shirts of this age.

There are no "shadows" from any original patches that were removed and replaced. No holes, tears or stains.
