JOHN LENNON SIGNED AND NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION PRINT 34/2000. In 1990 the renowned artist PETER MARSH produced a series of nine prints of rock'n' roll icons including Frank Zappa, Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Elvis, Mick Jagger, The Beatles and David Bowie. THE PRINTS WERE EACH PRODUCED IN A LIMITED EDITION OF 2000. The prints were all signed and numbered in pencil by Peter Marsh.
The prints were all produced in suitably bright psychedelic colours. THE PRINTS WERE PRODUCED ON HIGH QUALITY ART CARD. The prints were produced by Reliance Art Publishing Limited. They are a SIGNED LIMITED EDITION, Printed in Great Britain in a limited run of 2000. THIS PRINT IS A CLASSIC'1970s PLASTIC ONO BAND ERA' PRINT OF JOHN LENNON.A FANTASTIC PIECE OF POP HISTORY! More importantly they are NOT SIGNED OR NUMBERED. PRINTED IN 4 SOLID COLOURS. Includes PETER MARSH'S's signature in pencil and clearly numbered 34/2000. PETER MARSH was born in England at the end of the second World War and grew up in the Midlands.
Art and the music of the 1960s were his early loves. He was inspired by some of the great names of 1960s Rock and Pop and his artistic creations in poster form are now collected around the world. Peter Marsh continues to live in England where he still paints. This print is now 24 years old. It is not perfect but it is in extremely good condition given its age. The print exhibits some light dents and a couple of small creases. Also a couple of bumps to the edges consistent with the age of the print.This print has been in storage for most of its 24 odd years! All of the bumps to the edges would disappear once the print was framed and the dents would be barely.
None of the'imperfections' affect the number or signature. This information has all been included purely on the grounds of fairness and honesty. PRINT MEASURES 20 x 30 inches.
