An original photograph of John Lennon taken by acclaimed American photographer Richard Avedon in August 1967 The portraits were commissioned by The Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein, and were intended to be released as posters through various magazines globally, including Look in the US, The Daily Express in the UK, and Stern in Germany These were used to promote the band's new psychedelic image following the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Photograph measures 25.5 x 20 cm The condition is excellent.
