Up for sale today is this John Lennon Personally Owned Sony CV-2000B Videocorder Reel to Reel w/ JSA COA. This is a great find with a fantastic backstory. Back in 1969 John Lennon and Yoko were looking for a place to stay, because they didn't want to do the hotel thing any more. A guy named Ritchie Yorke who was a writer for Rolling Stone brought up Ronnie Hawkins name and John Lennon and Yoko called him to ask if it would be ok to crash at his place for a while with Ronnie Hawkins at his home in Mississauga Canada. Mississaugawas not to far from Toronto. The unit comes with a JSA certified and signed letter from Ronnie Hawkins stating John Lennon personal tape recorder that I promised Chris Tassone in the year 2000, serial number 2594. Date 1965 that he left behind at my house back in December of 1969, when John Lennon and Yoko Ono were staying with me. The letter has both Ronnie and Chris's signatures.
