John Lennon MIND GAMES Vintage 8 Track Cartridge NEW OLD STOCK SEALED! 1974

For sale is this extremely scarce vintage 8 Track Cartridge of JOHN LENNON - MIND GAMES on EMI Records. This incredible survival is a genuine still-sealed NEW OLD STOCK copy of this very scarce Beatle 8 Track. It has a print code on the inlay of 7401 DP which indicates a manufacturing date of January 1974 by the Data Packaging Corporation making this a true UK 1st Issue cartridge. The vinyl release date of this album in the U. It is known that the first issue cassettes of this title were not released until early 1974 (production of many EMI releases having been affected by industrial action, the Oil Crisis and the "Three Day Week" in the Autumn and Winter of'73) and it would seem the same is true of the 8 Track release.

Provenance : This wonderful find is one of a number of similar items I was fortunate to acquire recently, discovered in the effects of a former employee of the EMI factory in Hayes, Middlesex who just passed away. All the items are assumed to have been taken away from the factory decades ago as they were removed from the catalogue and no longer needed to be warehoused. Condition : This cartridge is in NEW (SEALED) condition. It still retains its original shrink wrapping. The condition of the cartridge inside is unknown but it is presumed to be in working condition.
