John Lennon/Beatles UK Apple Acetate for the single Happy Xmas (War is Over)

A 7-inch acetate recording of the John Lennon and Yoko Ono classic "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" (Apple, 1972), with a UK Apple acetate label. This original Apple acetate is even more rare than the limited edition. This incredible one-sided acetate was recorded by John and the Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir and cut at the legendary Apple Studios by mastering engineer George Peckham. Peckham joined Apple Studios in November 1968 as a trainee cuttingengineer and subsequently moved to the position of chief Apple cutter. Peckham's autobiography called "Porky's Prime Cuts" was released in 2018with several acetates contributed directly from Mr.
