Fabulous pair of photographs which I believe were taken by Patti Daley who was the long term partner of Jesse Ed Davis, at The Troubadour, Los Angeles in late 1974. (I cannot find receipt or whatever Tracks sent me). The photographs show a clearly inebriated John Lennon with George Harrison. The photograph measures 6.5" x 4.5" and is mounted on brown card. Looking at the back it appears to have been mounted in a frame or album.
The second photograph shows Lennon in deep conversation with the legendary drummer Jim Keltner. The photograph measures 6.5" x 4.5". The back of the photo has 2 interesting inscriptions. Now, Don't get real on me. The second in gold pen reads' Jimmy Lee Keltner And Dr. Now, Don't get Real on me. I have no idea who originally owned these photographs, but I would hazard a guess it was someone known to Lennon and his circle of friends. The photographs are in good condition, though if you tilt them at an angle in the light there are a few old small stains, but you would have to look hard to see them.
