The white on the bottom of the John Lennon cake-topper/nodder is "earthquake putty" that could probably be removed with rubbing alcohol?? I didn't try so as to not accidentally remove the paint. It was on there because I had all the Beatles nodders inside the back window of my car and this held them in place. The Playbill is from the original production of "Lennon" (the play about his life) from the Orpheum theater in San Francisco.
I picked up extras that people left on their seats after the show. The play was such a hit that it went straight from there to Broadway (I was told)! I was also told that these early Playbills are worth a lot, but I can't find any others exactly the same to know how to price them. The t-shirt had a tiny hole and was missing the tag already when I bought it at a Beatlesfest. It was NEVER worn (was way too small for me) and would fit maybe a 10 to 12 year old child (total guess).
The Beatles card is one of many from my childhood (and I'm an old lady now, lol). The blue John Lennon glasses are so cute and sturdy, and the pink pin is a true treasure!!!!! The pins are very old, hence rust on backs (I guess proof that they are originals, lol). The earrings and pin are so unique, and signed by the makers!!
They were never worn or even taken off the cards! The key ring is heavy and very nice, never used! All items were only displayed in a dust-free glass Beatles cabinet in my smoke free home. This item is in the category "Entertainment Memorabilia\Music Memorabilia\Rock & Pop\Artists L\Lennon, John".
