EX 1964 original Vee Jay Lp album The BEATLES Songs Pictures Stories & VJ inner

Here is a AUTHENTIC vintage. ORIGINAL 1964 PRESSING of a CLASSIC. Beatles album from my collection offered up for sale: The Beatles album " Songs Pictures and stories of the Fabulous Beatles ", this is a RARE vintage MONO pressing released July 20th 1964 by Vee Jay records VJLP , has "color band" brackets style Vee Jay labels and Vee Jay color printed inner sleeve. This album features "Twist & Shout", "I saw her standing there", "Please Please me", "Boys", "A taste of honey", "Anna" and more. Breathtaking super glossy and clean, near pristine!!

Has been PLAY TESTED and plays excellent from start to finish, super quiet play! Original Vee Jay paper inner sleeve is in very good condition. The story behind this unusual pressing: Capitol records filed a lawsuit against Vee Jay records who had been the first authorized record company to sell Beatles albums in America with "Introducing the Beatles" on Vee Jay 1062. Vee Jay had a back stock of the Vee Jay 1062 discs and introduced this unique and handsome 2/3 gatefold cover marked VJ-1092 and issued the "Introducing the Beatles" 1062 disc inside! Eventually capitol put a stop to it but here is the rarity album with two separate numbers!

The unique 2/3 style gatefold cover rates strong VG+/EX, is clean and bright with very light wear, NO SPLITS, top and bottom seams are excellent, binder edge is intact and still readable. The inner gatefold and back cover are clean, no signatures or writing, has been a well cared for 61 year old cover! Media rate may take up to nine days but is usually much faster.
