This display comes with laminated COA cards on both the material section and the film frames, a velvet like zipper case for storage, and a small display stand. JOHN LENNON-swatch of grey liner from a pair of black trousers/pants worn by John in 1967.
Originally acquired in the early 80's directly from Gordon Millings whose father was the owner of Millings & Son tailor shop. This was the famous tailor shop used by the Beatles, many movie stars, and other important music figures. The trousers have the original Millings and Son bevo label and the additional label with hand-written notes with a John Lennon July 1967. After careful inspection and consideration it was determined that a small fragment of material (left by the tailor) could be removed without compromising the integrity of the trousers. The material was removed from the cuff area. The removal was done by a professional seamstress. This clothing display is illustrated on page 96 of the 2022 book Psychedelic Walrus. The book cover and page are shown for reference only. The book is available in the gdme store.
