Photograph of TV screen with John Lennon on Juke Box Jury on 7th December 1963 hosted by David Jacobs. The BBC had a habit of wiping tapes when broadcast had gone out, Audio survives but no Film.

As this is a screen shot of the TV at a particular moment by a Fan its probably the only image of Lennon at that time on the show. Its been well handled by the fan who has written her name and address to reverse.

Period item from 1963 you can see the edges of TV in the darker parts of photograph. She`s done close up of John Lennon whilst he`s on the panel talking Hit or Miss for the Record just listened to by The Beatles. The Beatles Fan Club Secretaries were there as well for back up including Freda Kelly as it was recorded at The Empire Theatre in Liverpool. It was the only time The Beatles appeared on the Programme.
