JOHN LENNON OWNED AND WORN FABRIC SWATCH DISPLAY WITH FILM FRAMES. WELCOME BEATLES JOHN LENNON FANS! Unique 3 1/2 inch x 5 3/4 inch by 1 inch thick, clear, UV protective, acrylic holder with colorful graphics with two swatches, the grey liner and black pants swatch from a pair of black trousers/pants, worn by John in 1967. Originally acquired in the early 80's directly from Gordon Millings whose father was the owner of Millings & Son tailor shop.This was the famous tailor shop used by the Beatles, many movie stars, and other important music figures. The trousers have the original Millings and Son bevo label and the additional label with hand-written notes with a John Lennon July 1967. After careful inspection and consideration it was determined that a small section of material (left by the tailor) could be removed without compromising the integrity of the trousers. The grey material was removed from the waist area while the black material was removed from the seam. The removal was done by a professional seamstress. The display also contains four actual film frames showing the Beatles performing the song "Strawberry Fields Forever" in the music video. This display comes with a laminated COA card on the swatches and one for the film frames.
