This was shortly after publication of the New York Times bestselling The Beatles: An Illustrated Record, Roy Carr and Tony Tyler's album-sized pictorial discography of the Beatles years. Lennon's blue-ballpoint signature begins directly above his head and extends all the way to George Harrison. The picture of course hails from the Fab Four's 1967 photo shoot for Sgt.
