1960s ORIGINAL John Lennon Beatles Caricature by Gordon Currie

Something special for a serious Beatles fan or aficionados of pop culture art of the period: an original signed caricature of John Lennon created by artist Gordon Currie in the 1960s at the time of their US tour. Currie's Beatles Screamers poster sets have long been highly prized collectibles that regularly show up on sale. This version of Lennon was included in the Master Draftsman art book series The Caricatures of Gordon Currie (Currie and Salvador Dali were the only artists alive at the time of their edition's publication). It is drawn in India Ink on art board. These have been stored away from light since the late 1960s. We will include a letter of authenticity from Currie's estate along with the artwork.
