RARE Antique Vintage John Lennon Yoko Ono Beatles Oil Painting

This is a beautiful and breathtaking oil painting depicting the iconic photograph of John Lennon and Yoko Ono by Annie Leibovitz for Rolling Stone in 1980. This touching and very tender embrace between the two of them tragically depicts their last kiss, as John Lennon was assassinated on the same day that the photograph was taken.

This artist has taken this photo and painted a photorealistic and beautiful artistic rendition of the timeless moment in music history. Its an old painting, and would approximately date to 1980, likely painted as a tribute after the death of the fallen icon. Some minor edge wear and scuffing from age and storage. Acquired from an old and affluent West Los Angeles estate. This work is signed in the bottom right, but it is illegible to me.
